Gastec Detection Tube No. 161L measures Ethyl Ether with a Range of 10 to 1200 ppm.

  • Measuring Range: 10 to 400 ppm, 400 to 1200 ppm
  • Number of Pump Strokes: 2, 1
  • Correction Factor: 1, 3
  • Sampling Time: 2 minutes per pump stroke
  • Detecting Limit: 2 ppm (2 pump strokes)
  • Color change: Yellow → Pale blue
  • Reaction Principle: (C2H5)2O + Cr6+ + H2SO4 → Cr3+
