S-Cut Emergency Cutting Tool

Quickly and easily free patients or accident victims faster than ever before with the S-CUT emergency cutting tool. The S-CUT’s recessed blade allows you to safely perform emergency PPE cut out or cut the patient’s clothing without causing unnecessary pain, discomfort, or further injury. The ergonomic design and excellent grip can be used with or without gloves to cleanly slice through all kinds of material.

The S-CUT is made from stainless steel and plastic. The circular cutting blade on the 501 RTL and 701 can be removed without tools to be cleaned or replaced. The QE model is disposable.

S-CUT 501 RTL

Designed for use in rescue services and hospitals, this was the first S-CUT® model to be developed. It works according to a very simple principle: you just lift the edge of the material you want to cut and place between the cutting blade and the hygienic plastic support, then draw the tool in the direction you want to cut. The blade remains stationary as it cuts; there are no moving parts and no external power source is required. The S-CUT® 501 comes with an extra blade and hygienic plastic support.

Designed for use in hospitals and rescue services, the S-CUT 501 RTL improves the ease of blade rotation and replacement of the original 501 model and adds a new oxygen key. S-CUT 701

The S-CUT® 701 model differs form the 501 model in one important respect – it is smaller and lighter. This makes it the ideal tool wherever weight is an issue, such as in the ambulance services. S-CUT® 701 is an invaluable tool to have at hand in situations where a defibrillator might be used.

S-CUT QE

The QE model has the same cutting abilities as other products in the S-CUT® series with a useful life that lasts for several cuts. Made from glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), the S-CUT® QE can easily be included in emergency preparedness kits. Once the blade becomes dull, the S-CUT® QE can be disposed of or recycled.
