Serstech Arx mkII is a revolutionizing instrument. Serstech Arx mkII makes it easier to identify unknown substances and to take decisions.

Serstech and Arx mkII make it easy to do Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) to dramatically increase the Raman signal for narcotics, CWAs and bio toxins. The Arx mkII SERS attachment simply snaps onto the Arx mkII probe and it’s ready to do SERS measurements.

Serstech Arx mkII is built on a modern software platform, putting usability and algorithms in focus. The brand new graphical user interface is easy to navigate and new features such as Guided ScanTM and the Quick AccessTM feature make it possible to get precise results, faster. The Serstech Arx mkII is lighter and smaller compared to other models on the market and yet – even more powerful. Serstech Arx mkII lets users get focused on what is important and take decisions based on reliable measurement results – wherever they are.

Arx mkII now has new accessories including the Capillary Probe, TraSERSwab, Puncture Tool and SERSdock. Raman spectroscopy typically has a problem doing a point-and-shoot measurement on a spilled liquid; not so with the new Capillary Probe! The Capillary Probe draws a small sample - can be used on as little as 10 micro liters of liquid - and makes it easy to ID the liquid using QuickScan. TraSERSwab now gives SERS users the ability to check surfaces for residues of narcotics and CWAs. The Puncture Tool can be used by customs agents to punch into a wrapped bag to do direct Raman scan of the material inside. SERSdock allows transfer of a sample from Proengin’s S4PE sampler directly onto Serstech’s SERS accessory without having to take another sample.

Serstech's handheld Raman spectrometers are ideal for narcotics identification, and with the many available libraries capable of identifying more than 24,000 chemical compounds, they are also well-suited for HAZMAT identification.
