Acetaldehyde 100/a Detection Tubes (100 - 1000 ppm)
Drager Short-term Tubes have proven to be a very cost-effective and reliable method for the measurement of gases.
For short-term measurements more than 160 Drager-Tubes are available to measure the so-called spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Drager-Tube pump accuro or automatically with the Drager X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

||The tube does not differentiate between different aldehydes. Ethers, ketones, esters, aromatics and petroleum hydrocarbons are indicated, but with different sensitivities.
