Gastec Detection Tube No. 13 measures Carbon Disulfide with a Range of 0.63 to 100 ppm.

- Correction for Temperature & Humidity: Temperature correction is necessary
- Relative standard deviation: 10 % (for 2.5 to 10 ppm), 5 % (for 10 to 50 ppm)

- Reaction Principle:
- CS2 + CrO3 + H2S2O7 → SO2 + CO2
- SO2 + BaCl2 + H2O → BaSO3 + 2HCl
- HCl + Base → Chloride
