Methanol Detection Tubes 20/a (20-5000 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger-Tubes are available to measure the spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Draeger-Tube Accuro Pump or automatically with the Draeger X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapors can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces

| Cross Sensitivity: |
The tube does not differentiate between different alcohols. Higher molecular alcohols are indicated with significantly decreasing sensitivity. Ethers and xylene are indicated as well, but with different sensitivity. ? 25 ppm formaldehyde, ? 50 ppm acetaldehyde, and ? 50 ppm toluene are not indicated. Aliphatic petroleum hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, halogenated hydrocarbons and benzene are not indicated |
