Acrylonitrile Detection Tubes 0.5/a (0.5 - 20 ppm)
Drager Short-term Tubes have proven to be a very cost-effective and reliable method for the measurement of gases.
For short-term measurements more than 160 Drager-Tubes are available to measure the so-called spot concentrations of specific gases. Measurement usually takes between 4 seconds and 15 minutes. The tubes are used either manually with the Drager-Tube pump accuro or automatically with the Drager X-act 5000.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, e.g.: Determining and measuring concentration peaks, Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area, Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc., and Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces.

||The indication is not affected by:
1,000 ppm acetone,
20 ppm benzene,
1,000 ppm ethyl acetate,
1,000 ppm ethano,l
10 ppm ethyl benzene,
1,000 ppm hexane,
100 ppm toluene,
Styrene up to 50 ppm does not influence the indication. Butadiene
reacts with the oxidation layer; in the presence of butadiene, the
acylonitrile indication will be too low (e.g. up to 50 % too low with
400 ppm butadiene).
