Cyanogen Chloride Detection Tubes 0.25/a (0.25 - 5 ppm)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger Tubes are available to measure the so called spot concentrations of specific gases.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces
|Standard Measuring Range:
||0.25 to 5 ppm
|Number of Strokes (n):
||20 to 1
|Time for Measurement:
||max. 5 min
||white ─> pink
||5 to 40° C
||< 50 mg H2O / L
||a) CICN + pyridine ──> glutaconaldehyde cyanamide
b) Glutaconaldehyde + barbituric acid ──> pink reaction product
||Cyanogen bromide is indicated as well, but with a different sensitivity. Calibration data is not available.
||Before performing the measurement, the reagent ampoule must be broken and the liquid transferred onto the indicating layer so that it is completely saturated.
