Hydrogen Sulfide Detection Tubes 0.2%/A (0.2 - 7% vol)
For short-term measurements more than 160 Draeger Tubes are available to measure the so called spot concentrations of specific gases.
A wide range of different gases and vapours can be detected and measured, such as:
- Determining and measuring concentration peaks
- Measuring personal exposure in the inhalation area
- Detecting leaks in pipelines, gas installations etc.
- Air analysis in sewers, shafts and confined spaces
|Standard Measuring Range:
||0.2 to 7 Vol. %
|Number of Strokes (n):
||1 + 2 desorption strokes in clean air
|Time for Measurement:
||approx. 2 min
||±5 to 10 %
||pale blue ──> black
||0 to 60° C
||max 40 mg H2O / L
||H2S + Cu2+ ──> CuS + 2 H+
||In the presence of sulfur dioxide, the indicating layer can change to a yellowish color, but the hydrogen sulfide measurement is not affected. Comparable concentrations of mercaptan will interfere with the reading.
